Mental health coaching:
Displaced Journeys offers face-to-face, online via Zoom and Skype, free mental health coaching by appointment for anyone having trouble coping with anxiety, panic attacks, depression and suffering caused by traumatic events. We offer sessions based on active listening and befriending, with the goal of establishing trust and a supportive relationship. The type of support we offer involves talking with someone trained to listen carefully and think critically.

Physical activity:

Physical activity has the potential to improve your mental health and well-being. Self-motivation and maintaining motivation can be challenging at times.
We offer a supportive environment to get or stay active, whether that is through walking, running or cycling. We organize a number of activities that you can join, but we are also here to provide encouragement, ideas and advice on healthy lifestyle choices that you might want to consider.
We organize the following activities throughout the week, including weekends. These activities are usually one-on-one or, if preferred, in a small group:
- Walk & talk
A social walk in one London’s green parks. This can be combined with anything practical you need to do and can use help with too (such as grocery shopping, walking your dog).
- Run & have fun
We organise runs in/around any of the following parks:
Gunnersbury Park, Richmond Park, Osterley Park, Syon Park, Regent’s Park, Battersea Park and Hyde Park
- Ride with pride
Cycling is a great way to get active, but it can also be daunting in and around London. We organise rides to all levels of ability (from beginner to Olympian wannabe), so it can be more sporty, such as riding a few fast loops on a road bike in Richmond Park, or more leisurely if you want to increase your confidence on the bicycle for example.

Please be assured that any of the activities will be adjusted to your pace. We are not competitive, but focused on the social and enjoyable part of being outdoors and active.
